When heavy-duty hydraulic trailer manufacturer, DropDeckDepot.com, needed to elevate online awareness and lift trailer sales, they turned to AIS Media to develop and execute a custom search engine optimization (SEO) strategy. Within the first 60 days of launching the SEO campaign, DropDeckDepot.com gained a 600% increase in organic search engine keyword rankings and a 22.23% boost in website traffic.
How are these higher search engine rankings translating into real business results?
When we asked DropDeckDepot.com President, Barry Doyle, about what effect this dramatic increase in search engine rankings is having on his business, he simply replied with:
“Well… we’re selling a sh*t ton of trailers!”
Although Barry’s far exceeds our typical measures of success, it’s a clear indicator that our SEO services are driving real business growth.
Drop Deck Depot manufactures specialized, heavy-duty hydraulic trailers – the first in the industry engineered with a patented axle-less design.
To prepare for the launch of its new website in November 2015, Barry Doyle asked our team at AIS Media to develop an organic search engine marketing strategy with a goal to dramatically increase online brand awareness and demand for its trailers.
Prior to the launch of the new site, two major competitors dominated Google search engine results.
To create customer awareness for its unique trailers, DropDeckDepot.com needed to capture top rankings from their competitors on search engine results pages (SERPS).
Our Action Plan
The AIS Media SEO team rolled up its sleeves to perform a comprehensive competitive analysis. Utilizing enterprise SEO tools, we identified and analyzed Drop Deck Depot’s top competitors. We identified their strengths and also managed to find some key weaknesses in their SEO strategy.
To drive sales, it’s not just enough to secure a high volume of Google page #1 rankings but we considered which keyword searches would most likely convert into new business opportunities.
So, we researched and compiled a list of the 75 highest-value keywords relevant to Drop Deck Depot’s marketing initiatives – those with the highest relevancy and purchase intent.
Next, we performed a comprehensive technical SEO analysis on Drop Deck Depot’s newly launched website and made numerous improvements to the code, multimedia and content. We then incorporated high-value keywords throughout the site’s content, created an off-site link-building plan and submitted content development recommendations.
Within the first 30 days, specific web pages on the DropDeckDepot.com site began to appear on page 1-3 of Google search results. By the end of the second month, we were able to elevate several high-value keywords to page one.
DropDeckDepot.com is not only gaining higher organic search rankings and highly targeted website traffic but also sales.
DropDeckDepot.com President, Barry Doyle, expressed he’s extremely satisfied with the early results from our SEO efforts. From the increase in organic traffic, he has had “more online customers completing sales” and is “excited to see what’s to come” for his business.
So far, he’s been “selling tons of trailers” and will continue to convert more customers from his competition by digitally showcasing his superior design.
