Alabama Press Register Interviews AIS Media CEO, Harpointner, On The Topic of Online and Offline Marketing Strategy April 26, 2009 AIS Media, Inc., CEO, Thomas Harpointner, was featured in the Alabama Press Register providing insight on a recent local business success, Polka ToT. Despite an abundance of retail closings, Polka ToT, a business that was started 4 years ago selling exclusively online, will now open up an offline, brick and mortar location. Harpointner's statements included: While many retailers are moving from physical storefronts to online sales, Polka ToT will have the best of both worlds, said Thomas Harpointner, chief executive of Atlanta-based AIS Media, a firm that designs "effective Internet strategies" for small and midsize businesses. Many Web-based retailers lack credibility with consumers, he said, and a storefront helps with that. "They still don't have to worry too much about overhead," he said.
