American Health Imaging (AHI), one of the nation’s leading MRI and CT outpatient imaging centers, needed professional Atlanta SEO services to increase online brand awareness and site traffic. AHI turned to AIS Media for an in-depth SEO strategy that would increase both website traffic and new patient appointments for each of their 18 locations.

AHI’s existing site design and search marketing approach made it difficult for potential patients to find their nearest AHI center. Knowing that 88% of patients that look for health information start with search engines, the AIS Media team developed a multi-phased organic search strategy for AHI. The overarching goal for this comprehensive strategy was to place AHI in the Google Maps results that show up at the top of the search engine results pages (SERPs).


The first step was to perform a technical SEO audit, and rid the site of any errors that might be impeding Google from indexing the site and earning page 1 rankings. We then identified several high-value, high-intent keywords that would bring in patients who were ready to make an appointment. Using this keyword strategy, we implemented on-site SEO techniques to AHI’s existing website. AIS Media then redirected search traffic from the home page to preferred landing pages, which contained high-performing SEO copywriting language. This new traffic flow worked well, reflecting a higher level of intent by site visitors and better conversion rates. The rewritten content drove immediate and long lasting results, propelling the company’s website to page #1 of search results for more than 50% of AHI’s chosen keywords.
